Q1. How did your Entrepreneur journey start? Or Who/What inspired you to start this business/ entrepreneurship?
I started dancing by seeing actors / actresses on television. After that I joined Bharatnatyam classes and completed my 5 years in Bharatnatyam. Also did a dance workshops by a very famous Bollywood Choreographer and Actor.Then after i started my own freelancing classes which was inspired by my sister-in-law. And this is how my journey started.

I have been in this field since 17 years. My firm name is Nidhi Mehta Choreography. I am well-known in Wedding Events - Sangeet Sandhya, Engagement Ceremony, Welcoming Baraat, Haldi/Mehendi rasam, Corporate events, School Annual functions, Social as well as Religious Events. I also take regular batches of Garba, Dodhiya, Kids & Ladies Dance Batches & online classes all over the world. My USP is that I can even teach a non-dancer at it's best. And we also choreograph dance on the basis of story line depending on the clients event.
Q3. What kind of challenges did you face while starting/doing this business?
One of the common challenges in this field is COMPETITION. As there is much competition in my city surat. And also there was no support / no sources to get more and more clients.
Q4. Do share with our readers about your discovery period when you were facing difficulties in your business?
I discovered that in my city people use to go door to door for classes and we don't need large class to get more clients and I also discovered that everyone joins big groups to get more clients and contacts.
Q5. Share with our readers about your experiment period after the discovery period?
I started door to door dance classes. And after that I tied up with many Event Management Companies and also joined world's largest Networking organization. And also in this difficult period I never stopped my teaching. I started my online classes all over the world. So, from that I discovered many new NRI clients.
Q6. What are your future plans? Or now what is your vision for next five years?
My upcoming 5 years plans are to have a big space for my dance classes named NIDHI MEHTA CHOREOGRAPHY. And also to have a great working team with me. To get more & more students i.e. online/offline and many more clients for events. I also want to increase my business through websites.
Q7. How would you advise/suggest new entrepreneurs who want to start & sustain in business?
I just want to suggest new entrepreneurs to keep dancing, teaching in any difficulties and in any situation and also to enjoy their work. If you will enjoy your work and give all dedication and hardwork to your work success will come after you.
