Q1. How did your career journey start? Or Who/ What inspired you to start this business/ entrepreneurship?

I started this as a hobby, I liked making cards and craft items in my free time and it was this once when I did a little exhibition of my work for my family and some close friends, they all liked it so much that I got motivated to do more. I started taking orders from my people, one thing led to another, word spread out and here we are.

Q2. Kindly share some information about your Business, products and services here. Also mention your USP if any.

At Vidzkraft, we design personalised gifts and hampers for any occasion. Be it a birthday, wedding, anniversary, even if you are planning a small vacation, we will have something that people can share a memento or a gift. We like to celebrate even the smallest occasions and what is a celebration without any gifts. 

The USP, what I think of our products is, they connect with the person who has it and this is what we wanted to achieve. We make sure that our product ideas are out of the box. We want to create a spark in the eye of the receiver. Each and every product we create is not only a product, we give a part of us in every product,we bring out the soulfulness.

Q3. What kind of challenges did you face while starting/doing business?

When I started Vidzkraft, I did not have in mind that I was building a brand. I was happy in just making stuff that would be remembered at an occasion. In those times, there was no social media marketing as such, even when I thought of expansion, my whole base was solely customer to customer.

Also working in the paper industry, it is to be kept in mind to make maximum use of the minimum material. Adding to the challenges, it was difficult initially to engage new people, to understand and connect with the product, if they had no idea, what they wanted in the first place.

Q4. Do share with our readers about your discovery period when you were facing difficulties in your business?

Our work was sailing smooth, when suddenly the digital gifting started to happen. People were trying new ways to engage in gifting though digital medium rather than traditionally gifting. It was then, I realised that I needed to upgrade in a way that the traditional method still survives with a tinge of digital involvement.

Q5. Share with our readers about your experiment period after the discovery period?

My team and I had to do a lot of brainstorming to design things that would be able to connect with the previous generation as well as the current one. It is difficult to play with the digital gifting process when you are trying to combine it with the traditional way. Like, it shouldn’t get lost as one of your emails, but should be cherished for long.

Q6. What are your future plans? Or now what is your vision for next five years?

Now, that I am full of new ideas and a whole lot of motivation, I want to see Vidzkraft as a premium gifting brand. People have now understood, what efforts one needs to put while choosing a suitable gift, and we at Vidzkraft make it a lot easier for them to do so. I plan to create more, so that people get even more to choose from. We will try to occupy a space in each and everyone’s heart and space & everyone’s home with our creativity.

Q7. How would you advise/suggest new entrepreneurs who want to start & sustain in business?

If one has a basic idea in mind when they are starting something new, they shouldn’t be holding back, start your venture, start from small. There are a whole lot of ups and downs but that shouldn’t be stopping you to do more. The difficulties themselves become a motivation to come out of that zone and upgrade yourself.
