Q1. How did your career journey start? Or Who/What inspired you to start this business/entrepreneurship?
A self-taught hobby baker turned professional, I'm someone who believes in "Life is short, eat dessert first!" I would bake for friends & family, on mood swings too, as a stress buster! Such was my passion for cakes that they became my soft cosy getaway from everything else! Yet, I always looked at my baking venture as retirement gift to myself!
On a turning point in life, I asked myself, why then, do it now! With absolute & unconditional support from my husband & the entire family, Cakeazzle came into existence.
Much as the name suggests, it's my little cake castle that aims to bedazzle every single customer by amplifying their happiness with our heartfelt bakes.

At Cakeazzle, it's our pleasure to build you delicious treats of happiness!
We specialise in eggless customised cakes, cupcakes & other desserts along with 3-Dimensional cakes, gravity defying cakes & surprise inside cakes for all occasions. We use only natural extracts and no preservatives.
If you can think it - we can bake it!
Our goal is to convert your imagination into a cake that’s uniquely yours.
Q3. What kind of challenges did you face while starting/doing business?
Work life balance is tough as most celebrations are on weekends and that makes weekends working days for us bakers. But with support of the spouse and family members, it's a doable challenge.
Q4. Do share with our readers about your discovery period when you were facing difficulties in your business?
Although working from home and turning your hobby into a business gives you comfort and convenience, but at the same time it's quite challenging. From taking care of my young child to baking creative and tasty cakes is a lot. The satisfaction that I get from both is worthwhile.
Q5. Share with our readers about your experiment period after the discovery period?
The difficulty in obtaining a substantial list of clients taught the importance of referrals, client satisfaction, and building relationships. The need to win my client got the best out of me. Over the last 5 years I’ve designed and delivered some of the heartwarming cakes in terms of design and taste.
Q6. What are your future plans? Or now what is your vision for next five years?
Looking forward to a future where Cakeazzle would grow into a high-end Cake Studio that specialises in all kinds of cakes and desserts, especially gravity defying cakes.
Q7. How would you advice/suggest new entrepreneurs who want to start & sustain in business?
Precision, patience, perseverance and attention to details are the key to cake decorating. The only shortcut to success is hard work.
