Q1. How and when did you start your Entrepreneur Journey to serve into Wedding industry? What did inspire you to start your own business?

I started in this field ten years ago with India’s leading matchmaking service for elite segment. In 2020, me and my sister decided to start our own customer-centric matrimony.

We had worked with companies with handled matchmaking very professionally. However, we wanted to provide a service which is a combination of professional as well as sentimental touch. So here started the origin of Soulmate Destination Matrimony.

Q2. Kindly describe more about your business, your role, products/services.

It’s a personalized and most importantly, offline service. We take care of confidentiality of our clients and make sure that all our profiles are authentic and genuine.

Q3. Please share about unique feature/specialty/USP of your Product/Service.

The uniqueness of our service is that it is completely personalized. We personally visit our clients and share profiles according to their criteria, status and lifestyle.

Q4. How would you explain the importance of your role into a Wedding?

Matchmaking is the first step in one’s wedding journey. We play an important role in an individual’s life by guiding them to find their right match. 

Q5. What are the most common challenges you face at the wedding you are handling?

One of the most difficult challenge which I have to face is that the clients have very rigid criteria for prospect’s location, caste and physical appearance. It is difficult to fulfill 100% of their criteria and search alliance accordingly. 

Q6. How do you deal with these challenges?

We do a lot of counselling with our clients that their priority should be education, family values and family background of the prospect rather than keeping their strict criteria of location, caste and physical appearance.

Q7. Could you share one of your most unique creation/experience for/of a wedding?

There was a recent success story in which the bride was initially not ready to relocate to U.S.A. But the groom’s education and family background was wonderful. We felt that both of them were a right match for each other. So we somehow convinced the bride to at least speak once with the groom and fortunately both of them felt that they are made for each other.

Q8. What type of collaborations would you like to explore in future?

Our future endeavor is to make one step service provider for wedding industry. We intend to provide service starting from matchmaking till honeymoon package.

Q9. What is your vision for next five years?

The vision is to provide people with a superior matchmaking experience by expanding the opportunities available to meet potential life partners and build fulfilling relationships. We strive to do this through superior technology, in-depth research, valuable matrimonial content & services, and above all the highest quality of customer service delivered with a sense of warmth, understanding, respect, and company spirit, all under one roof.

Q10. What would you advise new entrepreneurs who want to start & sustain in the business?

Be passionate and professional about your work and believe in yourself. Make plans for the future and follow them until the end. Bring new and unique ideas and try your best to implement them for the betterment of your business. And most importantly, make your business/service customer-centric. This will help to sustain a long-term business.
