Q1. How and when did you start your Entrepreneur journey to serve in the Wedding industry? What inspired you to start your own business?

I started my journey in March 2019 when I choose to learn Soap making as an Art. I got interested in this art and gained more knowledge in the soap-making world and that's when I started my brand “Bliss”. Slowly my journey progressed by learning more about body care products. We started making customised hampers and the idea also worked well as wedding gifts.

Q2. Kindly describe more about your business, your role, products/services.

Bliss makes “Handcrafted Body Care Products”. We have various handmade products like Soaps, Whipped Cream Soap, Bath Salts, Haircare products, Creams, Face mask, and Serum.

Q3. Please share about the unique feature/specialty/USP of your Product/Service.

All our products are free from harmful chemicals like Sulphate and Paraben. We don’t use any Animal fat in our products. We also specialise in Customised products. We curate products according to client-specific needs. We also customise hampers for any occasion according to the client’s choice.
Q4. How would you explain the importance of your role in a Wedding?

There is a huge demand for personalised gifting at weddings. Our handcrafted products are perfectly personalised for every occasion and are unique yet trendy. People are looking for more chemical-free products for body care and this fits in well with our product offering. Our products can be a perfect gift for any family member and of any age. Our personalised hampers can come in handy as a momentous gift for the bride and groom. We also provide theme-based personalised gifts for bride's maids, groomsmen, and all wedding guests.

Q5. What are the most common challenges you face at the wedding you are handling?

Our products are popular and are more acceptable by a younger audience. However, we find it challenging to convince senior family members who still don’t see body care products as an appropriate gift at weddings. This sometimes leads to the cancellation of orders at the last minute.
Q6. How do you deal with these challenges?

We initially lost a few orders because of this mind set. This led me to take an initiative to explain to the senior family members what my products are made from and I also managed to convince them to try some of my products. The samples went down as a treat and were well-liked and appreciated. This ultimately helped me change their mind set and introduce new trends in gifting.

Q7. Could you share one of your most unique creations/experiences for/of a wedding?

Our specially customized hampers for the bride, bridesmaid, and newlywed couple are a big hit. We customize the hampers according to the individual’s skin type. Our pre-marriage hamper for the to-be bride is indeed very helpful to pre-up for the extra glow. Our Ubtan is one of the best and safest options you can use for the Haldi ceremony.

Q8. What type of collaborations would you like to explore in the future?

We are looking to explore the opportunity to work with event organizers and wedding planners to provide our product as personalised gift hampers for friends and family at the wedding.

Q9. What is your vision for the next five years?

My goal is to grow my Bliss brand across the national level. Our fundamental belief at Bliss is that “just like our inner body, our skin needs good food”. We want to provide personalised skincare to the mass market. We want people to understand their skin needs and experience skincare with safer products.

Q10. What would you advise new entrepreneurs who want to start & sustain in the business?

Always keep learning. Learn about the market and understand customers need. Learning is a key to growing.
