Q1. How did your career journey start? Or Who/What inspired you to start this business/ entrepreneurship?

I was born to dance, when I was 6-7 years old, I used to memorize all the steps watching tv, and adding my own style to it. So yes, I had rhythm but it was all self learnt; watching top Bollywood Actresses and other dancers. So I was inspired by all the dancers I used to see on TV.

Q2. Kindly describe more about your business, your role, products/services.

We are majorly into Organizing Sangeet, Dance, Choreography, Anchoring, Theme and Script of the Events, Weddings, Fashion shows.

My clients are very impressed with our ideas/theme/scripts and the whole event which we plan and do.

We have done over 500 weddings and dance workshops across the world including USA, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Dubai, Thailand, Indonesia and India.

Q3. Please share about the unique feature/specialty/USP of your Product/Service.

Our USP is Theme, Script, Anchoring and the Dance choreography which we do for our clients Wedding. All our Sangeet are scripted, themed in such a way that it tells a complete story of the bride/groom, their families, how they met and so on. The audience will feel like they are watching a real bollywood movie or a play as it's not just about dancing.

Q4. How would you explain the importance of your role in a Wedding?

I make sure that as a Wedding Event Planner my clients sit back and enjoy every moment. We offer a lot of services under one roof so clients can save money and time by going with us.

I eliminate a lot of unnecessary stress so you truly enjoy your wedding day. All the pieces are organized and put together by our team. Going into your wedding day knowing your vision will come to life! This is your day and we make sure it stays in your memory for a lifetime!

Q5. What are the most common challenges you face at the wedding you are handling?

Budget planning is the major problem we face as all clients want best in their weddings but many times their budget creates hurdles.

At times there are unrealistic demands of the clients as the bride and groom want to make the day the most memorable day of their lives.

We have to also be very careful when choosing external vendors for any task because it's our reputation which is at stake.

Q6. How do you deal with these challenges?

I always tell my clients to book early. The sooner they book in advance they will get a better deal and discounts in everything. I as an event planner buy goods directly from wholesalers or give contracts to shops to divide the budget evenly and get optimal results.

Q7. Could you share one of your most unique creations/experience for/of a wedding?

We did a wedding for a client who has one the Title of a very well known Pageant and is based in Australia but she wanted a grand Indian wedding with all Sangeet, Dances and Big Fat Indian weddings just like you see in movies. She had only heard about us from one of her friends in India and never saw our work in real life.

When she came to India and after meeting us she finalized the deal in 10 minutes. She knew we were the perfect match to make her day memorable. Her wedding was in Jaisalmer and they had over 50 foreigner friends coming from all different parts of the world for the wedding. It was great teaching bollywood dance to over 50 foreign nationals. We travelled together with the bride/groom and their family friends to Jaisalmer and spent around 4 days together. It was like one big family and we made connections and friendships for the lifetime.

Q8. What type of collaborations would you like to explore in future?

I would love to collaborate with National and International Wedding Planners/Dance Studios and Choreographers. Would love to introduce the West to our Bollywood dance. I would also love to tie up with fitness enthusiasts and do dance and zumba workshops across India.

Q9. What is your vision for next five years?

I would love to do dance workshops around the world. I would also like to choreograph a song for a Music Album. I am also planning to open Dance classes in different cities.

Q10. What would you advise new entrepreneurs who want to start & sustain in the business?

The ability to keep going with a positive mind despite all odds is a key in all aspects of life. Always keep learning new things, I am a student for life, even after a decade in this profession, every day I learn something new.
