Q1. How did your Entrepreneur journey start? Or Who/What inspired you to start this business/ entrepreneurship?

Ever since I was a little girl, I used to love the idea of giving handmade gifts. Though my relatives and friends used to always appreciate my work, I never felt to make it my profession. 

But when I got married, my husband who always stood like a pillar of strength for me after seeing my work motivated and inspired me to convert my hobby into my profession and today I can say, whatever heights I have reached in my profession is solely because of blessings of my parents and in laws.

Q2. Kindly share some information about your Business, products and services here.

At Creative Feelings, our core business expertise is to deliver Personalised as well as Corporate gifts. For instance, at Creative Feelings, we personalise gifts for occasions like  Birthdays, anniversary, wedding, house warming, baby shower, kitty parties, best wishes, or even for any of the festivals like Diwali, Rakhi, Holi, Christmas or Eid. Then gifts are targeted based on personalities like customised gifts for Mom, Dad, husband, wife, kids etc.




Q3. Please share about unique feature/USP of your Product/Service.

Giving gifts can be Herculean task for many. USP of my business is that we focus on concepts and hence personalisation is a huge component.

One can choose gifts for all categories in my store. From personalised hampers for the bride groom, to panda hampers for panda lovers.

Q4. What type of Products/Service do you cater for Weddings?

We have engagement ring platters, hampers for bride/groom. We do trousseau packing too. Pre-wedding photoshoot props are also available at creative feelings.


Q5. What kind of challenges did you face while starting/doing this business?

Learning retail market dynamics was a huge challenge for me. From fitting my gifts in the right price bracket for consumers to buy and understanding the logic of a consumer before buying gifts and able to deliver it on the desired date & time, making the gifts personalised were all part of challenges from which I learnt to grow my business.

Q6. Do share with our readers about your discovery period when you were facing difficulties in your business?

I started with my venture in 2009 and it was smooth sailing  for initial years. But suddenly with all the boom of e-commerce and digital gifting, I knew I needed to up my business quotient to the topmost  gear. I vividly recall at that time too, I had a list of my regular clients who I felt were missing. 

At that time to change my business positioning, I thought of an idea which worked in my favour. To all my regular clients. I sent a hand made gift hamper on the occasion of Diwali with a tagline "spread the handmade taste “a concept which was appreciated by my clients and from thereon began my journey of personalised gifting and working on new creations




Q7. Share with our readers about your experiment period after the discovery period?

At a time when today's generation have moved on from autos, taxis to Ride sharing, and when ‘Shaadi ki shagun’ is now e-cash, I realised that to survive in this business I need to offer to the market what they want rather then provide them what I can.

I never said no to any new design order. I accepted the challenges and this made me learn new  things and create more attractive products. I kept myself updated on trending topics and we started designing our gifts accordingly. I focused on building a dedicated team who helped me in boosting my brand.

Q8. What are your future plans? Or now what is your vision for next five years?

To make Creative Feelings as a PAN India brand as well as having a strong online presence on Social media platforms is my immediate target. 

My vision is to build a brand which would provide a unique twist to personalized gift products and would bring back nostalgia and memories of the sweet moments. I also plan to increase my Corporate Gifting customers base which would help the business revenue to grow.
