Q1. How did your Entrepreneur journey start? Or Who/What inspired you to start this business/ entrepreneurship?

It all started with my fitness journey when I was trying to loose weight and get fit by trying to eat as healthy as possible. And moved my family towards more Nutritious and clean eating. Since I was making Healthy cakes for my family and friends. My husband suggested to do it professionally.

Q2. Kindly share some information about your Business, products and services here.

I run a small home bakery business named Nutrify Everyday which does complete justice to its name. I make Energy bars, Gluten-free and Vegan cakes and Healthy laddoos. Apart from this I bake regular cakes, cupcakes, mousse, tarts too.

Q3. Please share about unique feature/USP of your Product/Service.

My Forte has always been healthy baking and freshly baked without the use of any preservatives. Also the customer can be pretty sure about the quality of ingredients that I use.

Q4. What type of Products/Service do you cater for Weddings?

Weddings are the time to binge for most of us. So one should make a conscious effort to snack on healthy munches to avoid a large binge meal.

We would be more than happy to provide the guests with such healthy bites/laddoos.

Q5. What kind of challenges did you face while starting/doing this business?

Initially when I started taking orders, getting more customers was a challenge. Word of mouth marketing helped a lot in such a scenario. And delivering too many orders for special occasions was a challenge too.

Q6. Do share with our readers about your discovery period when you were facing difficulties in your business?

As mentioned earlier getting across to the right customers was a task. Taking onto the social media platforms and promoting healthy baking was a game changer.

Q7. Share with our readers about your experiment period after the discovery period?

With the emerging food culture shift giving the personalisation and customisation preferences as per their requirements was an added benefit for the customers.

Culturally people no longer buy the idea that one size fits all and this applies equally to food regimes. Like a diabetic would require Stevia as sweetener, if it’s for the kids jaggery would work better, Working men/women would need natural sweetness like dates. Every single order was a new experience in this journey.

Q8. What are your future plans? Or now what is your vision for next five years?

I wish to relocate to a bigger space expand the business geographically to Identify new customers, plan for success and grow sales in the next few years.

Q9. How would you advise/suggest new entrepreneurs who want to start & sustain in business?

The key to sustain in a business is maintaining the quality of the product and understanding the customer requirement on a continuous basis. “You are as good as your last order.”
